Roatan is an island 35 miles in length, located about 35 miles off the Atlantic coast of Honduras, by the Caribbean Sea, in the Gulf of Honduras. Roatan is fast becoming well known as one of the world’s premier Scuba diving and snorkeling locations. The breathtaking coral reef surrounding the Island of Roatan is part of the second largest coral reef system in the world, second only to the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. The Reef House Resort and Diving Facility is an historic, island-authentic diving resort, located on perhaps the healthiest portion of coral reef found anywhere in the world today. Professional diving photographers have raved over the beauty, condition, and splendor of the coral reef at the shore diving in front of our resort, and at all our diving locations. Very professionally run, our diving operation is the safest, yet most exciting possible.

Your dive package treats you to three boat-dives per day, one night boat-dive per week, unlimited shore diving and snorkeling – directly in front of the Reef House Resort is what some guests have described as the best snorkeling they have ever encountered. Also included is all your meals -- which by the way can be individually adjusted to suit your exact dietary needs -- accommodations, weight belts, unlimited tank-air for diving, and all the fresh, purified drinking water you desire… all included in your package. The only items not included are beverages from the bar, Honduran hotel taxes of 16%, equipment rentals, extra activities such as island excursions, and your airfare. The Island of Roatan has its own International Airport and direct flights are available from Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Newark, and during the winter, Toronto. Our resort is a small intimate resort that is perfectly suited for serious divers. We do not have the diving traffic on our part of the island that is found on the other more crowded and commercialized areas of Roatan, therefore the reef in our dive spots is in wonderful condition.

The guest rooms are plantation style and connected as opposed to bungalows or cabanas. You have your own washroom with shower, satellite TV, and two very comfortable queen size beds. And after a full day of spectacular diving and a wonderful supper, a comfortable large bed completes the perfect day.
